It varies by boat and conditions, but we inspect zincs during every cleaning and replace them before they reach 40% wear. Our divers carry a full inventory of anodes and can swap them on the spot.

How is pricing structured?

Pricing is based on vessel length, hull configuration, bottom paint condition, and service frequency. We give every customer a transparent, itemized quote so you know exactly what you're paying for. No hidden fees.

How does billing work?

For scheduled customers, we invoice every 4 weeks with a detailed breakdown of services performed. One-time services are billed upon completion. We accept major credit cards and checks.

Are your methods environmentally responsible?

Yes. We're BMP (Best Management Practices) certified, which means we follow industry-standard protocols designed to minimize environmental impact. We also use the least abrasive cleaning methods to protect your bottom paint, so fewer particles are released into the water and less paint is wasted.

Do you handle emergency calls?

Absolutely. Fouled props, lost objects, last-minute race prep. Call the office and we'll do our best to get a diver to your boat the same day.

Do I need to haul out for a prop change or repair?

In most cases, no. Our divers handle propeller changes, trim tab repair, and thru-hull service in the water, saving you the cost and downtime of a haul-out. We'll tell you honestly if a job genuinely requires a haul-out.

Do I get reports after each service?

Yes. Every scheduled service includes a written condition report covering hull status, paint condition, zinc percentages, running gear, and any items of concern. You'll see what your diver sees, every visit.

How often does my boat need bottom paint?

In Southern California waters, most boats need bottom paint every 18 to 24 months depending on the paint type, water conditions, and how well the hull is maintained between paint jobs. Ablative paints may need refreshing sooner on high-use boats. We monitor your paint condition during every hull cleaning and let you know when it's time.
