Bottom painting isn't just rolling paint on a hull. It's a full operation, and we handle every step of it so you don't have to.
Next is hull assessment. We inspect every inch of the bottom, checking the condition of the existing paint, looking for blisters, delamination, gelcoat damage, and any areas where the barrier coat may be compromised. If there's old paint that's flaking or lifting, it gets stripped. If the existing paint is sound, we prep it to give the new coat proper adhesion. Every surface gets cleaned and prepped before any paint touches the hull.
We select the right antifouling paint system for your boat, your waters, and your usage. The right paint in the right application makes the difference between a bottom job that lasts one season and one that lasts three.
Application is methodical. Two full coats minimum, with a third coat on high-wear areas like the first couple feet of waterline where turbulence is highest. Running gear gets its own specialized coating if requested.
